Getting Started with iDataWorkers
Welcome to iDataWorkers — the AI-powered data intelligence platform that helps you lead smarter and decide faster. This guide walks you through your first steps, from connecting data to getting AI-powered insights.
What is iDataWorkers?
iDataWorkers brings together data integration, AI agents, visualization, and an AI copilot in one unified platform. Instead of juggling multiple tools for ETL, analytics, and reporting, you get a single platform that takes you from raw data to actionable decisions.
- Data Hub — Connect and unify data from Oracle, SAP, spreadsheets, APIs, and more
- Agent Gateway — Deploy AI agents that monitor, analyze, and act on your data automatically
- Data Sync — Keep data flowing in real time with managed pipelines
- Cognify — AI-powered analytics with pattern recognition and anomaly detection
- Visualization Studio — Build interactive dashboards and share them with your team
- Copilot Dexi — Ask questions in plain English and get instant data insights
Step 1: Sign In & Explore the Dashboard
After signing in, you will land on your main dashboard. Take a moment to explore the sidebar navigation — each module (Data Hub, Cognify, Visualization Studio, etc.) is accessible from there. The dashboard gives you a high-level overview of your connected data sources, recent activity, and key metrics.
Step 2: Connect Your First Data Source
Head to Data Hub and click Add Connection. iDataWorkers supports a wide range of sources:
- Enterprise systems — Oracle Cloud, SAP, Salesforce
- Databases — PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server
- Files — Excel spreadsheets, CSV uploads
- APIs — REST endpoints, webhooks
Follow the connection wizard to authenticate and select the tables or datasets you want to bring in. Data Hub will automatically detect schemas and map fields for you.
Step 3: Explore with Cognify
Once your data is connected, open Cognify to start exploring. Cognify automatically surfaces key patterns, trends, and anomalies in your data. You can:
- Browse auto-generated insights and recommendations
- Create custom analysis views with drag-and-drop
- Set up alerts when key metrics cross thresholds
- Run natural-language queries to dig deeper
Step 4: Ask Copilot Dexi
Open Copilot Dexi and type a question in plain English — for example, "What were our top 5 revenue drivers last quarter?" or "Show me customer churn trends over the past 6 months." Dexi interprets your question, queries the relevant data, and presents results with explanations.
Dexi can also help you build dashboards, generate reports, and suggest next actions based on the data.
Step 5: Build a Dashboard
In Visualization Studio, create your first dashboard:
- Click New Dashboard and give it a name
- Add widgets — charts, tables, KPI cards, or maps
- Connect each widget to your data sources
- Arrange and resize to fit your layout
- Share with your team or set it as the default view
Step 6: Invite Your Team
Go to Settings → Team to invite colleagues. You can assign roles and control who sees what:
- Admin — Full access to all modules and settings
- Analyst — Access to Cognify, Visualization Studio, and Copilot Dexi
- Viewer — Read-only access to shared dashboards and reports
